These are the things that God wants me to work on:
My obedience, my procrastination, my confidence, prayer..

Sometimes these things look so big and so much to deal with that I forget them or ignore them. But God is shining His light on me, showing me His will and identifying what is not, God opens my eyes so that I can run closer to HIM! Thank you God Thank you:) I'm glad I blogged.
Yes, blogging is good in the sense that it makes me think and face the things that i feel like ignoring, God reminds me of what He has to say. Yes, God, You will draw me back. Its Your faithfulness. I welcome Your work in my life. All I Need Is YOU...


Today is Friday and also..Pastor Andy's birthday? Happy Birthday Pastor Andy! I thank God for you and IGNYTE, for the known and unknown blessings that God has put around me. hmm what can I say? haha hmm...okay i think I'm bothering too much. okay so i shall say anything i'm thinking! :: I like You Pastor Andy! Although I don't know you soo well, i know You're concerned with my growth. :D I love it whenever I talk to leaders and they give me something in return! Whatever it may be, I like to hear what you all say haha.. On your birthday today, I pray that God will bring you even closer to His heart and that He'll reveal to you the path He intends for IGNYTE to go. Yet another year of blessings and wonderful relationship with God in this new season waiting for you! ^o^

Aand these are the top 5 things that I say; evaluated by my goodie friend Yu Jie in school! I think its quite  accurate...

Ya haha i always say "really". When people say something that I don't know, I say "really?" When I don't know how to react, I say "really?". When I really find something that I want to know and is interesting to know, I also say "really?!" hahaha...

number 4 yes i say that very often at least once a day recently. Venny must be soooo happy to see this ha:)
YES eating is one of my hobbies! What can I say? I love to eat!
As for number 1, I really need to change this..moreover, its number 1! Although its not OMG, it sounds like one.

Today is Saturday and today is one of putting my trust in God-not worrying about tomorrow-thanking God for the good plans that He has for the future.
Yesterday, I went to my grandmother's house and slept over. And I spent almost half a day with my grandmother.
Today I felt more pain than blessed under my grandmother's love. I saw the trouble and inconvenience she went through to give me the best. To make sure I stayed happy always. I became worried, anxious about her salvation before I lose her. But NO, believing in God is not done by my speech, but its done by You oh God. Its not about how much I speak, but whether Your spirit works through me. You are in control.
So I sing, "Hosanna, Hosanna,
Hosanna in the highest.."~




One thing I want to do so much is WRITE CARDS.
- I want to write to my sis to let her know of the different things that we can pick up in school; good and bad. Do a Bible-reading plan for her. Teach her how to do TAWG. Share with her whats on my mind. What God's been telling me recently.
- I want to write to my Zealots to ask how they are; to listen to whats happening to them, to sing songs with them, to laugh with them.
- I want to write to Christina; to share with her whats going on with me, what God's been telling me, encourage her to keep on growing in her lifelong walk with God.
- I want to write to my present classmates each; to tell them how much I treasure them, to tell them how special each and everyone of them are..
- I also want to have massive worship experience toooo

These are my wants. But God, let your purpose shine through. If I dont have the time to do these specific things, then let my time with them bless them. Your will will be my needs..:)

 Pay careful attention to the words. Don't let the meaning pass us by. For every word, know the meaning of what we're declaring and shout it with FAITH!

I'm in this period of time where I've been thinking of lame jokes and telling them to my friends at Pioneer Junior College. Hahaha here are some of them:

1. Whats the name of a/an (your name) on rollerblades?
     Ans>> (your name) !

2. I move my hand like a fish and ask, "What is this?". Almost all of them say 'fish'..
     Ans>> A hand !!

3. What do you use to draw a curtain at night? I think all of them said 'hand'..
     Ans>> A pencil !!!

HAHAHA and I tell it to almOst anyone I see~! And my dear Aishah will say, "Aiyo Valerie and her lame jokes again!" haha..:)

Oh yes and my GP (General Paper) teacher this year is Mr Bryan Goh. He looks like he is in his early twenties but he says he is 42 years old! Anyway, during the second or third lesson, I actually saw him living out James1:19-20! What happened was,:

The HOD came in to observe our class and while Mr Goh was preparing his slides, the HOD took the chance to address us. He said that our class behaviour was good and that we were all paying attention, that Mr Goh had put in a lot of effort into preparing our lessons.
After the HOD finished talking, we waited for a while. It seemed that the video clip that we were supposed to watch was having some problems. Tried a few times, but still failed.

What impacted me was how Mr Goh actually reacted to this situation. He got up from his chair and said something like, " I'm so sorry class, due to some problems, we can't watch the clip. But its ok, lets..." and he went on to lead us to do another assignment.

Knowing that he had put in so much effort into preparing our lessons, and I'm sure he really wanted us to learn the good stuff that he prepared, it was remarkable to see him bouncing back and leading us into another topic. Naturally and quite immediately, the verse "slow to anger" came to my mind. It was really a pure display of God's word, and I witnessed something great that day;)

I think Mr Goh is a Christian and I want to be someone just like him - to spread God''s word through the way I live:)

Yay, I've just created and customised my LiveJournal! Haha, but I'm not sure if I'm shifting to this blog..cos my current blog is just so nice..it has nice blogskin, nice big wall paper, nice 'Fitness Tip of the Day', and nice automatic music player~hahahaa:)

But either way, I definitely will not be deleting my previous one, because the posts are full of memories! I got saved in dec2007, so 2008 was my first year entering into and growing in my relationship with God. That blog (truthofjesus.blogspot.com) shows that God is a God of New Beginnings, faithfulness, love, and greatness:D
If this LiveJournal can have music playlist, I think I'll consider much more to shift to this blog!

Oh ya, recently, I'm so happy to say that I've begun memorising and declaring Bible verses word for word! Pastor Gary and other Pastors have been telling us the power of declaring Bible verses throughout the year, but I didn't memorise them word for word. During prayers, I just said roughly, like, "-the Bible says that You will pour out Your Spirit on all people..".
But now, I can declare God's exact words into my situation and YES it brings much faith and hope! Also, I'm renewed by my purpose in Him:)

Today for TAWG(Time Alone With God), in 1Peter5, God taught me to clothe myself in humility. This verse alone is so strong. We wear our clothes everywhere we go - and we don't even take them off for even one minute where there are people. In the same way, God wants me to clothe myself in humility, wherever I go. This alone shows how important humility is in His eyes. As long as I am awake, may I dress myself in humility, Lord!
